Our Values
About Kate: An artist who specializes in silk floral arranging still life and landscape painting in oil and watercolor. Through her Impressionistic style, she aptly expresses the grandeur of nature in a bold and radiant manner.
Kate holds a BA in Art History from Wheaton College in Norton, MA. She studied Fine Art at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, for three years after graduating from Wheaton. While there, Kate attended the Rhode Island School of Design on an exchange program where she concentrated on oil painting. At Brown University, she also completed a Masters class in Art History on Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel. She has exhibited locally over the past several years and has received an Award of Excellence for painting from the Somerset Art Association in Bedminster, NJ, where she has been a member for 10 years, as well as other awards of distinction from juried art exhibits.
